It starts with a drawing

Art Kid Collective began with two brothers, Daniel and Martin, and the piles of drawings they create while growing up in Brooklyn, NY.

We take the original artwork created by kids and transforms it into clothing for kids and grown-ups, while preserving the crooked lines, strange proportions, unexpected colors, and imperfections that made the original drawing special.

We don't redraw it to make it perfect.

  • Draw First. Think Later.

    Characters become creatures. Colors go where they aren't supposed to. Proportions don't matter.

    That freedom is what makes the artwork special, and we want to keep it that way.

  • The imperfection is the art.

    Crooked lines. Strange proportions. Unexpected colors. Scribbles that almost escaped the page.

    We don't clean those things up.

    They're not mistakes to fix. They're the fingerprints of the young artist who made them.

    Great kid art deserves more than a spot on the refrigerator.

    We turn Daniel and Martin's drawings into clothing that kids can grow up in and grown-ups can wear too.
